Creative Residency 2019
The project “Creative Residency in Ceramics and Vegetable Fibers” aims to develop experiences that reinforce interculturality and the creation of new products based on natural resources, combining innovation and tradition, and betting on the exchange of know-how and techniques among Azorean artisans and Cape Verdeans.
The creative residency, which will be guided by Kathi Stertzig and Álbio Nascimento, through The Home Project Design Studio, and involved the participation of Aida Bairos, Cristina Bairos and Marina Mendonça, from Santa Maria, Bento Silva, from São Miguel, Aurélia Rocha and Manuela Medeiros, from Terceira, and Luis Lopes, from Santo Antão Island, in Cape Verde.
