It was the first incubator in the Azores to support projects and business ideas in the area of handicrafts between 2018 and 2022, especially in the areas of weaving, wool, pottery, ceramics, among others.
We offered fully equipped spaces, tailor-made training and consulting, access to financing solutions and support for the marketing of products and services. It was a space and a community designed to develop your creativity and grow your business through a complete set of services and unique conditions.
The AZORES CRAFTLAB incubator was a place created to welcome companies/projects, identifying opportunities and turning them into lucrative businesses, offering a structure configured to stimulate, facilitate and favor their development.
INCUBATION AND MENTORING
It offered a set of incubator services, training, support in accessing funding sources, through partnerships and also mentoring services provided by experts to help those starting out, all within an adequate range of infrastructures.
COWORK
AZORES CRAFTLAB offered a large cowork room where entrepreneurs could share their experiences in a dynamic and common work space.
SMALL OFFICES
Designed to welcome entrepreneurs, we created small offices that guarantee more individualized and private work to create projects.
VIRTUAL INCUBATION
We virtually incubated companies and entrepreneurs, who could benefit from coaching actions, specialized business consulting, participation in events and complementary activities.
INFRASTUCTURES
Adapted to welcome the entrepreneurs for trainings, meetings and events, we had a meeting room, a training room, a cowork room, a canopy, a lounge and a promotional space. They were ideal spaces for your business and the community.
AZCL Incubated Projects
Since March 2018, when it started operating, Azores CarftLab – Handicrafts Incubator of the Azores hosted six (6) incubated projects based on the island of São Miguel, one (1) in Santa Maria, one (1) in Terceira and one (1) in Flores.
