The Government of the Azores promotes “Empreendo o Meu Negocio” in Ponta Delgada
The Vice-Presidency of the Government, through SDEA – Society for the Entrepreneurial Development of the Azores, promotes, from May 13 to June 18, the first action of the project “Empreendo o Meu Negocio” for 2019, which will take place at CRESAÇOR, in Ponta Delgada.
This action has a workload of 85 hours and contemplates the various steps for the realization of a business idea, from its emerging, to the self-diagnosis of the entrepreneur profile and to the development of the main competences and attitudes of the entrepreneur in domains related to the management of a business.
The first phase of training is based on an essentially practical aspect, followed by a second phase, to support the implementation of the business, with a time horizon of up to six months, and a third phase to support its follow-up, with a time horizon up to 12 months.
With the objective of promoting the effective creation of companies following the frequency of training included in this initiative, will be given the award ” Empreendo o Meu Negócio”, in an amount of 3,500 euros, to the five best applications to be submitted in each action of this project and whose promoters materialize their projects of company creation.
“Empreendo meu Negocio” is intended for unemployed individuals with a minimum schooling education enrolled in the Agencies for Qualification and Employment, and may be extended to university students taking the bachelor’s degree, master’s or doctoral courses who wish to carry out the creation of a company.
Will be also able to apply young people with an interest in developing an economic activity within the creative industries, handicraft entrepreneurs who wish to acquire skills in the area of business management and entrepreneurs of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises who wish to acquire skills in the field of business management.
This action aims to provide the graduates with knowledge in the business area, with a view to exploiting the economic potential of the endogenous resources of the Azores and is one of the measures created by the Regional Government for the promotion of entrepreneurship and job creation.
