The Vice Presidency of the Government, through the Regional Center for Handicrafts (CRAA), promotes the exhibition “Açores Artesanal” in the ambit of Sanjoaninas, from June 21 to 30, at Cerrado do Bailão, in Angra do Heroísmo .
This exhibition, which is part of the Sanjoaninas 2019 program, which is dedicated to the theme “Angra – Regalo do Rei e da Gente”, intends to take advantage of this season of greater tourist flow to give visibility to the works of 28 companies in this area, which have applied for the Incentives System for the Development of Handicrafts of the Azores (SIDART).
This year, the show features artisanal products from Terceira and Pico, covering several artisanal areas, namely fish scales, embroidery, lace, dyeing, wool, ceramics, costume jewelry, leather, miniatures and home textiles, among others.
With the realization of this exhibition, CRAA intends to promote the handicrafts and artisans and support the marketing of Azorean handicraft products.
The “Açores Artesanal Sanjoaninas” has free admission and is open every day from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.
