Island of Flores | Virtual Incubation
The work of the artisan Marília Hipólito mirrors the connection between her academic training – architecture – and the Azorean tradition of ceramic and tile painting. Marília Hipólito intends to create and commercialize a line of atisanal products of excellence that represent her creative identity in the interpretation of the environment that surrounds her. The product she presents runs away from the trace and traditional colors parameters. She does not look for forms associated with a direct reality, but interpreted, playing with geometry, the stain, the color and the line. Through a artisanal practice with tradition in the Azores she presents an innovative vision and application.
