Paulo do Vale created his brand in 1999. Under the name of “black gold of the Azores,” Paulo Vale produces jewelry, combining basalt with gold and silver.
The design and contemporary jewels have earned the recognition at various levels, not only in successive participations that have registered in national and international events, as well as with national awards of great importance.
This would have been the strong argument for the choosing of a necklace of Paulo Vale authorship by the President of the Portuguese Republic, as a gift of state, to the Queen of Jordan.
