Vieira Ceramics Factory was founded in the 19th century, and was the first ceramics factory of the Azores.
This factory produces decorative and utilitarian chinaware and tiles, using artisanal processes, from modeling to painting, with very characteristic drawings, in which predominates the blue color, which distinguishes it as “Louça da Lagoa” (chinaware from Lagoa).
Ceramics certified by the brand “Artesanato dos Açores” (Handicraft of the Azores).
