The Cooperativa de Artesanato e Solidariedade Social Senhora da Paz was founded in 1997, developing craft works in several areas, such as embroidery, fish scale and pottery. However, it is mostly in the gold embroidery that this Cooperative stands out, for the quality and artistry that it produces the devotional pieces, such as flags and hearts of the Holy Spirit, the capes of Senhor Santo Cristo dos Milagres and of the Bom Jesus da Pedra, devout in Vila Franca do Campo.
