The Handicraft Cooperative of Santa Maria was established in 1989 in order to boost the economy of the small parish of the Espirito Santo and to not allow the lost of craft traditions of the island of Santa Maria in the areas of weaving, manufacture of bread and sweets.

Weaving certified by the brand “Artesanato Dos Açores” (Handicraft of the Azores).
