Maria Johanna Vermazeren dedicates herself to the design of ceramic pieces, using red or white clay, molding only by hand or using the potter’s wheel, reinterpreting ancestral combustion techniques such as raku, slow exposition to fire combined with glaze or soenga (pitfire), obtaining original contemporary ornamental pieces.
