Mercês Sampaio is an embroiderer of excellence, dedicated not only to the typical white embroidery from the island of Terceira, characteristic by the richelieu, eyelets, full and buttonholes stitches, but also to the embroidery in “matiz”. On Linen she borders many vegetal and figurative themes, giving them sometimes a classic or erudite touch.
She produces pieces of home décor and fashion accessories.
