Self-taught in the manufacture of miniatures, Luís Filipe de Freitas, developed his art using a strong technical experimentation, until reaching the perfection of the works that are born of his imagination. The artisan devised the necessary practices for the construction of miniatures that represent the Azorean popular architecture, in particular of the island of Flores. His work has been a regular presence in several exhibitions.
