Isabel Roque created her atelier in 2008 and since then many are the projects developed by this designer from the Azores.
She did her internship at the Blay Punt-company, stores Cotó/Cotó in Barcelona in 1999-2000.
In 2007, she developed a very unique design, a women’s collection, in partnership with the embroiderers from Rabo de Peixe that was supported by the Regional Centre for Handicrafts. The works developed in this project gave rise to an exhibition – “Pontos” (Stitches) – in 2008, in the Carlos Machado Museum, in Ponta Delgada.
In 2000/2001, she participated in the wardrobe of a television series from RTP-Açores “Gente Feliz Com Lágrimas”.
In 2009 she won the 1st prize for original piece, a tricorn dress – Handicraft Contest, sponsored by the Regional Centre for Handicrafts.
In 2014, she executed a dress in corn leaf, which served as cicerone to the space – Handicraft of the Azores – in the International Handicraft Fair (FIA).
