Art of Printing
It comprises the artisanal process of reproducing decorative elements of a figurative, geometric or abstract nature on fabrics, using as auxiliary equipment the rake (or handle) and frames made of mesh canvas, or other material, wax, and water-based paints (specific to the textile).
Briefly, this process consists of transferring an opaque drawing to the canvas through the use of a photosensitive emulsion, followed by the transfer of the drawing to the fabric, which is achieved by pouring the ink onto the canvas that is fixed on the fabric. the fabric and passing it with the scraper so that the ink passes through the micro-holes in the canvas. The pressure exerted manually with the paddle is what allows the paint to be impregnated into the fibers of the fabric, meaning that, after drying, the applied paint is not perceptible to the touch and does not harm the texture of the fabric.
