Azores Craft Lab

The Azores Craft Lab (AZCL) installed at the Azores Qualification Center (CQA) is open to artisans, creatives and the community.

This project began as an incubator in the crafts sector in 2018, to support projects and business ideas, having welcomed projects from Azorean craft companies, with a special focus on the areas of wood, jewelry and ceramics. From now on, it is more focused on practicing artisanal know-how techniques, through training, experimentation and innovation, enhancing synergies in terms of equipment and audiences with the CQA.

Following the completion of the CQA requalification works contract in the first half of 2026, CADA will dedicate the second half of the year to the transition and implementation of the Azores Craft Lab project in its new facilities.
