The Azores Craft Lab (AZCL) installed at the Azores Qualification Center (CQA) is open to artisans, creatives and the community.

This project began as an incubator in the crafts sector in 2018, to support projects and business ideas, having welcomed projects from Azorean craft companies, with a special focus on the areas of wood, jewelry and ceramics. From now on, it is more focused on practicing artisanal know-how techniques, through training, experimentation and innovation, enhancing synergies in terms of equipment and audiences with the CQA.

Subject to the works resulting from the CQA requalification project, the Azores Craft Lab will not be able to fully operate all of its services in 2025.
