Felting

Production of various textile products using the manual wool felting technique, through which wool fibers are transformed into a resistant non-woven fabric.
Two distinct techniques are used and permitted: felting with the soap and water technique (Wet Felting); felting with the needle technique (Dry Felting).
This activity also includes the traditional felting technique specific to the manufacture of burel or porridge blankets, for example, through which the woolen fabric, after leaving the loom, goes to the floor to be beaten at the same time as it is moistened, which leads to the compaction and felting of the wool and, consequently, the waterproofing of the fabric.
