Island of São Miguel | Virtual Incubation

The project revalues two artisanal techniques, macrame and capacharia (mats), in the creation of a collection of fashion design pieces.

Based on a metamorphic experience, the union of these two arts, with crochet notes, gives body to bags.

In its composition, the recycled cotton thread and the bulrush leaf, coming from a plant that grows in the Azores, are eco-sustainable materials, being environmental concern a premise of the brand.

Capacharia gains a different function from the traditional one and, combined with a contemporary design, enhances the development of unique and original pieces.
