Biography:

Aida Maria Andrade became interested in manual arts at the age of 10, particularly in wool knitting. She learned to make the Boina de Lã do Corvo (Corvo Woolen Beret) with her mother and aunts, and has been perfecting her technique throughout her life. Her Corvo Woolen Berets are certified with the collective brand of origin and quality "Artesanato dos Açores".
