Biography:

The Workshop - Museum of Capelas was founded in 1998 by Manuel João Melo. It is an ethnographic museum, where you can see a private collection of pieces linked to the traditional Arts and Crafts of the Azores.

In this workshop the live work of figurines and weaving is one of its main attractions, being possible to buy these and other handicraft products in their store.
