Biography:

Knowing the whole cycle of the flax and wool, from the production and treatment of the raw material to the final product, this weaver with long years of working in the loom, has designed pieces that go through the traditional costumes worn by folk groups, as well as bedspreads and rugs. Nowadays she applies her knowledge also in the elaboration of bags, potholders, tablemats, and blankets, following the contemporary aesthetic trends, helping in this way the preservation and innovation of the weaving of the island of Terceira.
