Biography:

Bento Silva has a profitable relationship with vegetal fibers, namely with wicker and bulrush leaf. With the first one he produces the traditional baskets, especially with raw wicker. With the second one, he produces creative compositions of capacharia, through plaited bulrush, geometric compositions emerge. Traditional doormats or rugs become insulators to be brought to the table, wall panels, centerpieces and carpets.
