Biography:

José Medeiros is originally from Ponta Delgada, but currently resides in Maia, in the municipality of Ribeira Grande. He made his living working in car repair shops, but in his free time he dedicated himself to reproducing all kinds of agricultural implements in wood. Ox carts, harrows and plows, everything was learned by trial and error, looking at books and old photographs.

As he perfected his techniques, he acquired his own tools and, with beautiful woods such as pine, mahogany, acacia, cedar (among others), iconic pieces with meticulous attention to detail emerge from his hands.
