Biography:

She learned to make the fish scale flowers in a course she took in the parish of S. José. The technical and artistic improvement led to the certification of her works. She presents vegetal compositions of bleached scales, visited by butterflies, and worked with silver or gold bugle beads, on a black background, achieving harmonious scenic effects enclosed by discrete frames. The taste for the lapinha Christmas cribs came with the inheritance of an exemplar of her great-grandmother that she replicated on an experimental basis. From here on she created and perfected her lapinhas.
