Susana Nascimento produces, above all, costume jewelry and other decorative pieces trough glass fusion. Exploring the particular characteristics of glass such as color and transparency, she creates small pieces through the fascinating process of assembly/transformation of the glass by the action of temperature. She also uses other materials such as metals and felt to complement her creations.
