The handmade embroidery company – Açorbordados- was established, in 1945, with the goal of producing excellent quality embroidery. Currently, in addition to the production, they are also exporters and retailers of embroidery exclusively handmade and in pure linen.

Its production is mainly dedicated to the white embroidery, characteristic of the island of Terceira and certified by the Brand “Artesanato dos Açores” (Handicrafts of the Azores).
