Biography:

Maria da Conceição Medeiros, or Nonina, as she is better known, once retired, she tried to dedicate herself to activities, seeking knowledge in books, and in the memory that took her back to her past, to her grandmother who mastered the art of gathering rags and making pieces for the home.

Over the years she improved her Patchwork techniques until she became a reference in this area of ​​artisanal activity. Nowadays teaching is a pleasure and participating in regional, national and international fairs is a way to showcase her work and exchange experiences with other artisans.
