Biography:

Joana Dias is one of the youngest weavers in the archipelago of the Azores.

With certified weaving, the artisan gives new life to the artisanal looms. Applying varied patterns, she combines geometries and colors that go back to the tradition of the Azorean weaving, giving a personal touch of lightness and fluidity to the compositions. However, with her initiatives, using wool of Santa Maria, she impels the fragile primary sector of sheep raising.
