World Embroidery Day was also celebrated at the Azores in a Box store on July 30th. To mark this occasion, the Azores Crafts and Design Center (CADA) hosted artisan Cristina Borges, who demonstrated the Matiz Embroidery technique live. Visitors also had the opportunity to see some examples of Azorean embroidery, certified by the Collective Brand "Artesanato dos Açores".
