The exhibition "Portuguese Artisanal Production: The Current Importance of Ancestral Know-How" is on display at Arquipélago – Contemporary Arts Center, in Ribeira Grande, until October 12th.

This is a joint initiative between the Azores Crafts and Design Center (CADA) and the Directorate General of Arts through the "Saber Fazer Portugal" Program.

This initiative highlights CADA's ongoing commitment to reinforcing the cultural value of handicrafts and traditional arts and crafts of the Azores, also reflecting the very name of the exhibition in which the tradition remains relevant, never dissociated from the cultural identity of the people and their territory.
