Biography:

The artisan, a native of Ribatejo, chose Povoação to live about 20 years ago.

She learned the technique of working the fish scales with another artisan in 2005 and from perfecting her techniques, resulted, among other things, monochromatic vegetal compositions, from which emerge flowers that stand out for the purity of their texture.

The arrangement of the scales, cut and organized with silver bugle beads on colored backgrounds, achieve harmonious scenic effects enclosed by discrete frames.
