Biography:

Filomena Fragoso Rebelo is a Biology and Geology teacher and a certified artisan in the areas of "Making of Nativity Scenes (Lapinhas)", "Art of Working Fish Scales" and "Manufacture of Registos and Similar". She develops her handicraft work using traditional techniques, respecting Nature and Azorean traditions. She has collaborated and participated in several educational projects in museums, schools, and other institutions.
