Biography:

In the atelier with her brand, Casa da Mata, Maria João Silveira produces handicraft works using vegetable fibers as raw material.

She creates flowers and dolls with Bulrush, dragon tree leaf and corn leaf, sometimes dyed or in their natural color, with a peculiar technique mixing fabrics that she molds translating some movement to the pieces, being decorative pieces or in costume jewelry.
