Multifaceted artisan, Maria da Paixão Resendes began her journey in the Azorean handicrafts throught the hand of the embroiderer Rosa Duarte, from Lomba do Cavaleiro - Povoação, learning the traditional tecjnique of the embroidery of the island of São Miguel. Not stopping there, she also develops registos of Senhor Santo Cristo dos Milagres and lapinha Christmas cribs, where her technical and creative mastery are not overlooked.
