Biography:

The recipe of “Queijadas da Vila” was created by the nuns from the old St. Andrew's Convent, in Vila Franca do Campo.
These “queijadas” whose main ingredient is milk, is one of the most emblematic conventual sweets of the island of São Miguel.
Adelino Morgado started the manufacture of “queijadas da Vila Franca do Campo” in 1961 and its product is widely divulged in the market.
In 2015, he won the gold medal in the category "Queijadas" in the Portuguese National Competition of Conventual Confectionery.
