Biography:

Aida Barbosa learned how to work the fish scales in 2010, in a workshop promoted by the Parish Council of Santa Cruz, Praia da Vitória, being her trainer D. Ana Quental. Once the technique was acquired, she began to give wings to her imagination and to create her first pieces. Her works are certified by the Regional Center for Handicrafts, traveling the world with the tourists who buy them. In 2017, she participated in the workshop "Innovating the Arts and Crafts", and in 2018 in a workshop of Fashion Accessories, introducing, thus, new techniques that enrich her works."
