Biography:

The Cooperativa de Artesanato Nossa Senhora da Encarnação opened its doors in March of 1991 and came up, above all, to promote the traditional weaving work on the island of São Jorge.

In addition to being able to enjoy the live work on the loom, we find a wide variety of excellent weaving pieces.

This cooperative is also recognized for the work in Chilean Lace and Needle Lace. They have a unique model for biscuit containers with lace and embroidery.
