Biography:

They carry out works that affirm themselves by their own identity, whose aesthetics clearly shows the prodigious mastery and good taste. They have contributed with an important legacy to the Azorean handicraft, offering to the present and future generations a valuable information about the techniques of working the wheat straw, fish scales, fig tree and hydrangea kernel, lace and embroideries, keeping the investment that they put in when founding the School of Handicrafts in Santo Amaro in 1986 alive.

In addition to all of this admirable work, they have been able to reinvent concepts by giving them new functionalities, such as the original labregas do mato and the various pieces of costume jewelry made from wheat straw or dragon tree leaf.
