Biography:

The Handicraft House of Fajã dos Vimes, with more than 30 years of existence, belongs to the sisters Alzira and Carminda Nunes, who are dedicated to the weaving in high stitch. This House constitutes a handicraft reference not only of the island, but also of the region of the Azores. Whoever visits it, is dazzled by the enormous bedspreads made of linen, cotton and bright colored wool.
