The 1st edition of the Ceramics Festival took place on the 29th, 30th and 31st of May, with the support of the Portuguese Association of Ceramic Cities and Towns and the Azores Crafts and Design Centre, promoted by the Vila Franca do Campo City Council, through the Municipal Museum.

With a diverse program that includes workshops, debate days, exhibitions and craft and gastronomy fairs, this event aims to value the local pottery tradition, promote the municipality's cultural identity and foster cooperation networks in the ceramics sector.

Highlighting the contribution of the CADA's Coordinator, Alexandra Andrade, who spoke at the Conference with the theme: “A development strategy for the arts and crafts of the Azores”.
