From July 8 to August 28, 2026, the Azores in a Box store, at Portas do Mar, will host an exhibition with works by the artisan Célia Azevedo, in the area of handmade bookbinding.

With artisan status from CADA since 2024, it is in her space, Atelier Arte e Pormenores, that Célia Azevedo develops her work, using traditional bookbinding techniques, with contemporary and personalized design, and carefully selecting the materials to be used: selected papers, high-grammage cards, waxed thread with beeswax and fabrics for the covers, giving preference to the use of natural fibers such as linen and cotton.
