The launch of the book “Doçaria Açoriana – Da História Que os Gestos Contam” is integrated into the Program of the European Artistic Crafts Days. The ceremony was at the Luís da Silva Ribeiro Public Library and Regional Archive, in the city of Angra do Heroísmo, on April 1st.
The book is authored by the anthropologist of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Dra. Teresa Perdigão, whose presentation is in charge of Dr. Francisco Maduro Dias. This is another publication of historical, technical and promotional character that CRAA has been publishing since 1998, covering the most diverse activities of the traditional handicrafts of the Azores.
