The Government of the Azores opens applications for the first handicraft incubator

The Vice Presidency of the Government of the Azores, through the Regional Center for Handicrafts (CRAA), opens today the period for applications for the first handicraft incubator in the Region.

The Azores Craftlab, according to the regulation published in the Official Journal, is a project that aims to support business projects and ideas in the area of handicrafts, especially in weaving, wool, pottery and ceramics, among others.

This incubator, expected in the Government Program, was conceived to welcome companies or projects, identifying opportunities and turning them into lucrative businesses, offering a structure configured to stimulate, facilitate and favor its development.

The Azores Craflab, located in the center of Ponta Delgada, offers to future entrepreneurs fully equipped facilities, consultancy, training, access to financing solutions and support to the commercialization of products and services.

The applications, which occur until November 30th, can be made through the website www.artesanato.azores.gov.pt or directly at the Regional Center for Handicrafts, in Rua Conselheiro Dr. Luís Bettencourt, nº 24, in Ponta Delgada.
