Founded in 2000, by David Silva and Odília Teixeira, the Atelier of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art of São Jorge has been executing various works in order to preserve and repair art works on the areas of easel painting, polychromatic sculpture, gilded wood, ceramics and furniture.
Since 2011 that they realize inventories and security marking into works of art through chips.
They have already developed restauration works in the “Santa Casa da Misericórdia” of São Jorge, of Angra do Heroísmo and in the Church of São João, situated in Lajes do Pico, among others.
